Zagreb plays away against a strong Sinj

Sinj - Zagreb

SC Ivan Poljak Sokol – Andrija Alčić, Sinj  | 21. november 2025.

This Saturday, our team travels to Sinj after a short recovery period and the international break, from which we emerge fresh, motivated, and fully ready to continue the season. The break allowed us to recharge the players, deal with minor injuries, and further work on the aspects of our game that we want to raise to a higher level. Training sessions were intense and high-quality — we focused heavily on attack structure, defensive solidity, finishing precision, and the physical preparation that is essential for the tempo our style of play demands.

We’re heading to Sinj with a clear intention: to play our recognizable fast and dynamic style of football, control the tempo from the very start, and impose our game. The team is focused, full of confidence, and eager to return to the competitive rhythm. The atmosphere within the squad is excellent — the players are hungry for matches and fully aware of the importance of every point as the championship continues.

Of course, we have a very demanding challenge ahead of us. In recent seasons, Sinj has shown a high level of quality — they are a physically strong, well-organized team and very dangerous on their home ground. On top of that, the forecasted harsh weather conditions could make the match even more difficult, which traditionally plays into the home team’s hands. We expect a tough, hard-fought game in which small details will make the difference.

Despite everything, we believe in our preparation, our unity, and the energy this team possesses. We’re going into the match bravely and decisively, with full respect for the opponent, but also with a clear ambition — to give our absolute best and return home with a positive result.
