However, to return from Makarska with the win, we will need to replicate, or even elevate, our level of aggression. In a clash against a team that dominates in close-quarters contact, strict possession control with a minimum of errors and turnovers will be crucial. Given that we expect an extremely high-intensity match with plenty of heavy collisions, our physical conditioning will be put to the ultimate test. Ultimately, alongside strength and tactics, the deciding factor will be mental toughness. Our boys must withstand the pressure from the home fans and maintain focus on the game plan for the full 80 minutes, as every second of lapse in Makarska can be punished.
